This listing is for a 30" tall antique Tete Jumeau Doll. Doll is marked at the back of her bisque head DEPOSE Tete Jumeau, 14, see photos please. Doll is also marked with a blue stamp on the lower back "Jumeau Medailled's Paris". There are some other letters handwritten on the back of her head, my reference tells me some of these dolls were marked for certain department stores with letters and numbers. This is a bisque socket head with jointed strung composition doll body. Stringing is a little loose but doll displays, you may wish to replace or tighten her stringing to your liking. I flashed her bisque head with black light and do not see any cracks or hairlines. There is some cardboard in the lower neck area, I do not know her history and why this was done, possibly to secure the head better to the body. There is a cork pate on her head you will need to glue back on. Body shows some overall wear with some re-paint, she has all fingers and toes intact. Wears human hair French wig, antique clothing and vintage black shoes. I have taken plenty of photos, please look at my photos to serve as part of this description.
